Volunteer for Meal Preparation

Volunteer registration for meals for the 2024-25 season is open. Sign up to prepare and/or serve meals, or provide another service. Remember to provide as much information as possible to enable us to best meet your volunteer needs. If you are volunteering as a group, please have everyone in your group sign up online and include the name of your group and primary contact person.

Host an Online Fundraiser

Volunteer to Provide Food

We need volunteers to provide food for a maximum of 27 people. When you provide a dinner, please deliver it in 9" x 13" disposable foil pans so that it is easier to warm, if necessary. Some food items we can use are listed below, but be creative and bring other nutritious meals and foods which you enjoy at home. Keep in mind that not all of our guests eat pork or any type of meat. Please be sure to review Montgomery County's Health and Human Services food safety information here.

  • Baked or Roasted Chicken

  • Healthy casseroles and other healthy meals

  • Vegetarian alternatives

  • Salads and fresh vegetables are appreciated with meals

  • English Muffins

  • Cereal (Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, Raisin Bran etc.) 

  • Yogurt

  • Cream Cheese Packets (Large Box) 

  • Sliced Whole Grain Sandwich Bread 

  • Fresh Fruit (Bananas, Apples, Pears, Oranges, and Grapes)

  • Water Bottles (12 oz.)

  • Packaged Sliced Turkey, Ham, and Cheese

  • Plain Brown Lunch Bags

  • Snacks for lunches

  • Sandwiches for lunches
