Onsite Evening Volunteering 6:30-9:30pm nightly Nov. 1st – Mar. 31st;
 
Daytime volunteering weekdays flexible hours between 9:30am – 2pm for administrative and facility support; 
 
Emergency Volunteers needed for snow emergencies, 4-wheel drivers, or back up Evening Volunteering; 
 
Food Volunteers

to prepare meals or lunches in advance in own home.  

Students Montgomery County Public Schools Service Learning authorized site;  
UMBC and Howard University School of Social Work.
Private schools and places of worship community service hours;  college practicum and internship opportunities through UMBC
Requirements to Volunteer
  • Individuals under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
     

  • Up to five people per group of volunteers in evenings
     

  • At least one person in group must attend an orientation
     

  • Must be able to climb stairs
     

  • A minimum of once a month commitment for Evening Volunteers preferred.
